James sits on the trailer, sad at being so badly hurt yet the old familiar smile on his face shows that he is happy that his life is about to be saved.

As shown here, the damage is severe. The rear end has been completely destroyed. 

Both front wings are gone and the chassis too. Bodyshell damage has been limited to just the rear end though so it is possible to save such a special and well loved car. 

Which is why we are going ahead with this project.
