We had always liked 2cv's and found one in 2003, a 1983 Grey & Grey Chalston for sale at £175.

We insured it for £375 and it named Knobby because of the number plate. We became 2cver's by joining the Pompey Puddle Ducks in September 2003, a month later we also joined the Off Piste Ducks. 

In December 2005 we bought our second 2CV, also a 1983 red Club called Splodge by it's original owners.

We like 2cv's because of their simplicity and everyone smiles, waves or points us out when we drive them.
