It is now 30 years since Tim and Roy's business started,repairing Citroen Dyanes and 2CVs .Over the years we have seen and worked on virtually all variants but notably not the ultra rare Sahara, twin engined 4x4.
The days of a good 2CV for next to nothing have definitely gone as today they have acquired classic status and are definitely desirable. The majority have now had replacement galvanised chassis fitted, which are good for many life times, but there are still some to be found with good original chassis. In particular the early French 2CVs seemed to have excellent chassis. They must have been better built in those days.
The slightly more upmarket Dyane is now becoming sought after. Having lost popularity for some time they are now pretty thin on the ground. With people becoming aware of these lovely variants prices are rising fast, as they catch up with their cousin the 2CV.

1958 2CV
