For a few months now, Bonapart Products has been established in France. In spite of that change, Norrie Walker’customers have placed their trust in me as they used to do with my predecessor, and I thank them.

This new situation has allowed me to develop the good ideas Norrie hasn’t had the time to materialize, as well as my own projects.

Many new parts are going to come into being, like DOT5 silicone brake fluid for instance. Really new? No, but what will be new is a fair price, so as to enable all the 2CV lovers to give the best to their favourite car. SILICONE BRAKE FLUID

This is to introduce our latest new product to you. Of course, Silicone Brake Fluid isn’t a new idea but now, as a result of direct importation from a long-established major manufacturer, we are pleased to be able to offer it at an unbeatable price.

This very high performance brake fluid is compatible with all conventional hydraulic brake and clutch systems with the exception of those which use green-coloured LHM type mineral-based fluid.
Silicone brake fluid is not designed for use in ABS braking systems for which a DOT5.1 synthetic, polyglycol-based brake fluid is appropriate.

Silicon Brake Fluid Characteristics:

- Non-corrosive in contact with paintwork or metal.

- Non-Hygroscopic. It does not absorb water vapour from the air and so protects braking components and brake lines from corrosion. Even with vehicles that are used infrequently, it prevents seizure of wheel and master cylinders.

We are now pleased to be able to offer for the first time these high-quality re-makes of the long-awaited 2CV 'A' Series (PRE - 06/1952) brake pipes. Made using 90/10 cupro-nickel tube with solid brass fittings the assemblies are silver-brazed to provide high vibration resistance.

The famous German "ATE" range is now available from Bonapart Products:

ATE Plastilube anti-squeal, metal to metal paste/grease 35ml: Specially designed for braking components assembly (eg, brake shoe and floating caliper pivots, contact between pistons and brake pads/brake shoe heads, adjustable cams etc..). It allows greasing without the possibility of any brake fluid contamination. The thickening agent of ATE Plastilube is so stable that it does not escape from the lubricated surfaces even in the event of sudden extreme pressures. Moreover, it is insoluble in water and presents an excellent resistance to high temperatures.

ATE Assembly paste 180g: Indispensable for optimum efficiency of your braking system. This paste, which used to be a "must" and has long been forgotten since the introduction of assisted braking, limits the loss of efficiency due to the friction between rubber joints and metal. It's a specific gel that lubricates the seals, 'O' rings, master cylinder cups, calipers or cylinders in contact with brake fluid and is absoutely compatible with all DOT specifications.

With ATE Assembly Paste, considerable friction reduction between components is attained resulting in greater braking efficiency and a more responsive brake pedal.
