Hello Helen

Thanks for your entry form.

Sadly the Rally is for Citroen 2CVs only as the heavier L Rovers are prone to being sucked into quicksand, their dependence on water cooling causes engine block failure at -30, old fashioned leaf springing gives road holding inadequate for tight hairpins but you have been allocated a works 2cv in royal blue called 'Landrover' which meets your specified needs.

As you are based in Kenya I am afraid you will have to enjoy a handicap of some kind whilst driving through Kenya to balance out your advantage of local knowledge. 1) non-stop Val Doonican tape throughout Kenya 2) attend three Rotary meetings or 3) or drive one section using only reverse.

Helen chose Handicap No3 & has a luminous KDEC logo on the roof for overflying nightime advertisement .....
