'SCABBS CAMP' Grove Road Preston (nr Wingham), Ken
Andy organised the Kentish Hoppers late summer Camp and brought several of his vehicles.
The camp site was in a beautiful setting near Canterbury. There were 2CVs plus H-Vans, Amis, AK400s and AK350. Andy did a great job organising the site, with excellent health and safety advice and facilities. There were plenty of local eating places for the campers to visit and of course, on the Saturday, there was 2CV racing at Lydden Hill circuit a scenic 14 mile drive away. |
