CHAT FROM THE CHAIR
The Southern clubs picnic at “POOH CORNER” will be at 12am .A route to take you if you are coming from the west is m25,junc 6,a22 to East Grinsted,,at forest row just after East grinstead look for B2110 on your left to Hartfield/weir wood reservoir/ Pooh corner is actually a house/shop but there are trails to the picnic spots,etc..Bill and I will go on an expedition to case the joint...the poosticks bridge is nearby,,maybe this will be better for picnic,will we sort things out before hand.(hartfield is the village we want..we will sign the approach near Hartfield
Also Scotland looms,Bill and I will try and go..it depends how bills project is going.
It was good to see a small increase in numbers at the meeting on Tuesday, together with two new members to wanted to know what happens. Registers day at Peterborough was excellent several of us attended, we must cogratulate our BOB(THE BULDER) CUTLER for winning best Ami6 award plus 2nd most liked car overall. Sadly RAY..?(AMI 6 OWNER) STARK had forgotten the trophy..,so we had our own ceremony at the Tuesday meeting
The other topics were Walton on Thames and Dentworm which will we hope will be a great success(theyt were..Editor)
We do want to see you at the next Tuesday meeting..so if you have not been for a while,pop[ along and we look forward to seeing you all there

HAVING JUST RETURNED FROM DENTWORM WITH ONLY A DAYS BREAK BETWEEN THAT AND THE SOUTHERN CLUBS CAMP AT WALTON ITS BEEN BUSY.A FULL REPORT IN NEXT MONTHS ISSUE,SUFFICE TO SAY THAT BOTH EVENTS WENT VERY WELL,ALTHOUGH A LOW TURNOUT AT WALTON WAS RATHER DISAPPOINTING.

CANAL BOAT TRIP WITH THE OFF PISTE DUCKS..AUGUST 13TH
aim is to catch the 12.30 boat from little venice to camden lock..returning at around 5pm(or earlier if wanted)..the route will be at the meeting on Tuesday.the offpiste ducks will meet at fleet services.. We should aim to meet at venice which is at blomfield road..W9.next to A40M…..let me know on tusday as we will confirm numbers then.
