January. Chat from the Chair It
was good to be back at the meeting and lovely to see everyone who had sent me
good wishes during my stay in hospital. There was a good gathering, Christmas
cards were exchanged etc. and the raffle was good. There was an embarrassing
moment when the landlord asked us when we wanted to eat ! He had us down for a
meal but I had never confirmed this. I just hope this has not put any ‘bad
vibes’ between us. I
hope you all had a good festive season and that those of you who had to work
managed to have some time to celebrate. I
sincerely hope that in 2000 you all enjoy your 2CVs and events that are planned
in the summer months. (more later) We
hope that “James” will be back on the road in the next few months. Life is
not the same without him. Gill News
from the NHS front... Gill

surgery at the Middlesex Hospital. As Bill says he now belongs to the ‘Zipper
