one of our club members car stable….these dratted Italians are
sneaking in...BE ALERT…(we need more lerts!)
Your Editor has ANOTHER 2CV...good body and only 50.000 on the clock..
.but chassis gone(as with so much in life…) am intending to rebuild.

The A.A. imposes premiums for older cars of over twice the
normal premium for both European cover and u.k. cover...if indeed,
they will dein to cover it all….you think that's bad Green Flag
then triple...yes triple...premium cost from Green Flag will
go down well…Direct Line are not vaguely interested,unless it never
breaks downand is under three weeks old..….R.A.C. on the other hand
,will, providing you quote the 2cvgb club and the references in the mag,
be pleased to take you on quite happily at NO extra cost for over 10
year old cars….so go R.A.C…….AND
Are the A.A. supporting you as a motorist against the forces of
lunatic councils/road humps/speed limits/revenue cameras,etc….are
they hell...they slavishly follow the mototorists are criminal
brigade now they are just a private company and are not interested
in support for you as a motorist….only the A.B.D.

THE WORLD MEETING…..ANOTHER WINNER….

The Austrian world meeting can be counted as
one of the most successful yet,a stunning site in
the mountains,fantastic weather and over 3000 cars
made for a tremendous week….the hills and tunnels
tested the 2cv's to the limit but we all made it there and back…
.some 950miles each way,,,the routes down both ways were
spectacular ,Austria is a luuuverly country and we all
enjoyed the trip…...pictures and info will be appearing
on the web site son …. And...

THE WORLD MEETING IN 2005 WILL BE IN ENGLAND…
.YES WE WILL BE HOSTING,AND WORKING ,AT THE WORLD
