The Coastguard kindly lets us use the hard standing for our barbeque(!)

Fifteen or so assorted 2CVs turned up

and the group enjoyed watching the start of a mixed double cross channel swim attempt which due to icebergs was cancelled just a few (4) feet in.

and well done for warming the water with your feet and saving us from icing over.

Roy has acquired an excellent H Van that is in first class condition and rather than have the signage painted our he is delivering fresh napkins in the locality

Bill, who got his degree just before Christmas, Yvette, Gill and Tony braved the cold, warming the air with a good natter.

It really was cold and a lot of hand-rubbing and cup clenching was done

Tony organised a collection to repay the Coastguards' kindness to us and to provide them with much needed support
