"This traction belongs to an  ACA member (ACA = Association des Citroën Anciennes) who doesn't hesitate to stick a publicity for our event on his own car ! Dunkerque en Torpédo, ACA and La Traction Universelle were the 3 organisers Clubs for this event"

"For this big international event, Thierry Dubois, a famous drawer (he draws for LVA, Rétroviseur ... ) accepted to draw our Publicity Affiche. He represented the traction in front of the beach ... In the traction you can see a happy family with dog. Thierry Dubois is also a specialist of the famous N7 (Nationale 7) in France : Paris - Côte d'Azur road. If you like old cars, go to visit his web site : www.thierry.dubois.com and www.nationale7.com .You will be enjoyed"

"In France, in past, you had along the roads "Plaques MICHELIN" who indicated the different directions and the kilometers. For our Museum, we built 4 "Plauses MICHELIN" and our Dunkerque en Torpedo's President Michel FAYENS decided to put some "Clins d'oeils" for evybody. For example, here it's a clin d'oeil for all the english tractionnistes who came to Dunkirk for this big event."

Patrick Verheecke

"This wonderful car belonged to Mrs MICHELIN. Michelin bouhth CITROËN on 15 december 1934 because the banks didn't believe in André CITROËN and didn't accept credit for him. The banks gave credit (5O millions of francs) to MICHELIN who could continue the Traction AVANT aventure.
André Citroën fell ill and died on 3 july 1935 without lived this extraordinary success of the Traction Avant."
