Retromobile, Paris - 2008 (8th-17th February) This year's Retromobile show started
at 12 noon on Friday 8th February
For 9 days nearly 300 exhibitors, clubs et associations are sharing their passion for cars. There are many examples of classic and vintage cars on display, all in excellent condition. There are books, memorabilia and spare parts for sale. The auctioneer house Bonhams is showing a selection of superb cars that are available for sale. 60 years of the 2CV 2008 is the 60th annniversary of the introduction of the Citroen 2 CV and there are excellent examples of 2 CVs on show including an early 'Ripple bonnet' model, a Mehari a 1988 Special and more. 2008 is also the 80th anniversary of the Citroen C4. The cars of Jean-Pierre Foucault French television presenter Jean-Pierre Foucault has a real passion for cars and has built up a collection. He has brought a selection of them to this year's show including a Traction, 2 CV, Dyna Panhard and Renault Floride. There are cafes and restaurants inside and outside the exhibition hall. The weather is wonderful at the moment, so come to Paris and enjoy the show!
