Superb sunny day for our trip to Winchester Brewery (in Southampton!) by the Old Floating Bridge and under Itchen Bridge.

Cars marshalled including Bob & Carols ripply ripple which had arrived from t'other side of Portsmouth.

Owner David Wheallans abandoned his Sunday afternoon and kindly showed us the successful secrets of micro-brewing.

We then learned the interesting ins & outs of brewing proper beer whilst, or course, sampling some.
Delicious and indeed a quantity was procured to demonstrate the art at forthcoming French National.

Max , Peter & Shelagh went in their vocal 2CV specials and arrived early, Shelagh walked to end of road to marshall Pompey PuddleDucks convoy and was promptly accosted by a gentleman who wished to know if she was "open for business", "I'll ask my husband" said she....
