Raid Tan Hill 2006 from Annie
(press bottom right to make slide show automatic)

We convoyed with Tony, Hillary, Mike and Marian Emmett, from the Off Piste Ducks, Tony from another club. Pam and Pete couldn't make it; they went down with flue, so were disappointed not to be there since they made most of the arrangements. Pam and Pete, Geoff and myself belong to Pompey Puddle Ducks and the Off Piste Ducks.

We made good time to Leeds. We arrived at about 1pm. and Looked around Leeds, before going to the Les Hiboux club meet. On the whole it was one of the best and well organised convoys we have been on and recommend others to give it a go next year. There were over 80 cars registered for the convoy, covering 70miles of the Yorkshire Dales with beautiful scenery and lovely quaint little villages on the way.

The Les Hiboux and the Hosts at the Tan hill Pub were both friendly and entertaining. A visit to 2CV city completed the weekend, before the long trip home of 337 miles. Many thanks for a great weekend Les Hiboux.
