On 27th, Max Hyde, Bob and Carol and Peter & Shelagh Lee attended Citroen Specials Club stand with Max in Kermit, his working van and Max Hyde Motors MK2 Special , Bob & Carol in their H Van and Peter & Shelagh with Charlee Pembleton and of course the Southern Group from CSC with Lomaxes & BRAs.

On 28th, Max had organised a MHM stand and the centrepiece and crowd grabber was his latest project – a 1950 Van, possibly once a local ambulance, awaiting restoration. Peter & Shelagh took Lee Frog & Charlee, Max had Kermit + Mk2, Bob and Carol’s ‘H’ Van and several members of Pompey Puddleducks arrived in their 2CVs to complete the array.

And the weather unleashed it’s wet overnight so it was fine…..

Other than Lee Frog’s Halfords battery expiring on it’s 2nd anniversary and a H&S ‘Official’ bleating about a protruding starting handle, we all had a Good Day indeed.
