About 2,500 cars attended the 2006 French National, there were H-Vans with van-roofs

the singing nuns toured the site and one H Van had extending sides

The site was very pleasant, lots of space and a large lake

All sorts of Citroens turned up

the condition gets better every year

There were some lovely old cars

conditioned ranged from concourse to needs-TLC

Some interesting 2CV Agricultural vehicles

A seriese Citroens included Amis......

Burtons, coupe conversions

Dyanes and one splendid aluminium single seater made by Max of Southampton over a period of two years

there were Meharis and lowered cars

All sorts of interestingly modified cars

Off roaders and Raid cars were well represented

Cars with engines in the boot

and a special short wheelbase two seater twin axle steering 2CV

There was even a 2CV completely controlled from the upper deck

Of course there were some super vans

And some beautiful graphics

Boot art has always been a 2CV thing

The artwork is better every year

And there were lots of interesting trailers

Often matched to the towing car and sometimes caravans in miniature

A special area was set aside for the market

Matt (of Matt's Soft Tops) was there


Pierre Foucant from Belgium offered his fabricated parts

Tony of 2CV City was there with his chassis

Louis Barbour was there with his 4x4 kits

Of course there was excellent food and entertainment

The regional tastings were held all over the site

Eventually it was time to return home
